Comcorp taps Acrodyne for DTV transmitters

Acrodyne Industries, Inc., a leading manufacturer of television transmission systems, announced today the order from ComCorp Broadcasting, Inc., a subsidiary of Communications Corporation of America ("CCA"), headquartered in Lafayette, LA. The order is for the Quantum IOT-equipped transmitter series for their digital conversion.

The Quantum transmitters have been designed for high reliability with simple, elegant DTV solutions. Conceived by broadcasters and designed by the EMMY award-winning talents that invented the technology, this product offers the most progressive technology in television transmission today. It is the only product line exclusively created to fully exploit the latest generation of IOTs.

CCA has 100% ownership of ten full power television stations in Texas, Louisiana, and Indiana, and AM and FM radio stations in Louisiana.
