Discreet Earns Accolades from Top Industry Publications

Discreet, a division of Autodesk, Inc., announced today that the company and its products have been chosen by the top trade magazines, AV Video Multimedia Producer and Film & Video to receive several awards at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show in Las Vegas.
The AV Video Multimedia Producer Platinum Awards are an annual survey in which more than 10,000 readers participate by selecting the best products the industry has to offer in such categories as Compositing Software, 2D Animation Software, Painting and Imaging Software, 3D Modeling and Animation, Graphics Workstations and Web Authoring Software, to name just a few. Film & Video's Choice Awards are selected by an independent research company, Scenic Wonders, Inc. who polls top producers and post-production facilities.
"The Platinum Awards are unique in that they are given out by the industry professionals who are buying and using the products every day," said Sam Kintzer. vice president and publisher, AV Video Multimedia producer.
