"The extensible Matrox Flex 3D architecture that RT2000 is based on lets us deliver powerful new features in our software releases," said Patrick Beaulieu, Matrox senior product specialist. "It's been just over a year since RT2000 was introduced and in that time we have responded to feedback from many of the 35,000 users who told us what they need in a cost-effective realtime editing platform. We have given them two major software releases as well as numerous service packs and effects packs with the most-requested features, all at no charge."

"I think the RT2000 is the only piece of equipment I've ever bought, which has gotten better, and better, with increased capabilities, without having to buy upgrade parts for it," said Heath Firestone, producer/director, Feuerstein Studios, Cheyenne, Wyoming. "These new features have definitely extended the life span of the RT2000."
