SoftSet-Lite stirs up a sensation
June 10, 2000
To keep up with the pace in Miami's news market, WTWN knew they needed a very competitive set. After careful consideration, WTWN chose DDG to help them elevate their position and increase their ratings.
"We looked around at several companies to help us move to the next level on the air. DDG took the time to walk us through what was involved, both technically and with on air content. Few design companies were willing to do that upfront," says Ken Clark, Station Manager at WTWN-TV.
WTWN selected SoftSet-Lite because it offered the opportunity to dramatically improve its look without being costly or having a sense of permanence. Possessing a small studio, WTWN needed the flexibility to create an expansive look.
"The new set design is delivering a level of sophistication we needed to be competitive, yet it is not so bold as to detract from our talent and the content of the newscast," says Clark. "It is obvious that DDG cared about our success. The company had demonstrated through its years of experience that it had the skill to execute this project".
"We're serious about finding a way to be a part of the solution, without compromising our artistic integrity," says Dan Devlin, CEO/Creative Director of Devlin Design Group. "With every project, we prove that when you need something fresh, exciting and new, DDG is your first choice. Your success is our goal."
