Merger accepted by the market place, securing orders of more than $1.5 million as well as generating significant prospects

The success of the re-branding of vizrt, recently formed by the merger of vizrt and Peak Broadcast Systems, was demonstrated at IBC 2000 with the closing of orders worth more than $1.5 million, including sales to major European TV Networks of the newly integrated product line including Virtual Studio Systems, Broadcast Graphics, Content Management and Map systems. The new product offering raised a significant level of interest and enthusiasm among industry leaders, resulting in a considerable number of new prospects for purchasing of the newly announced Company's products. This sales activity reconfirms the strong sales level generated by the combined Company since the announcement in early July.

Shlomo Nimrodi, President and CEO, vizrt, said, "I am very pleased with what our crew was able to achieve in less than eight weeks since the combination of the two companies was announced. We are already realising the benefits of the new entity, which is well positioned to lead the digital revolution in the broadcast marketplace. Our tools are already fundamentally changing the way information is communicated by leading broadcasters around the world."

"The new product line covers the entire workflow process of real time graphics content creation for broadcasters and web-casters. Our customers are able to enjoy the product synergies of the two companies allowing them to easily produce broadcast-quality real-time graphics in many formats for the Internet and TV broadcast markets," added Nimrodi.

vizrt's products are the most commonly used in the broadcast graphics market today. Among vizrt customers are CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox, Sky, Granada, Yahoo, Launch, Pro7, RAI, Televisa, CCTV and many more.
