<%=company1%> Hi-Tech (Kfar Saba, Israel) has formed OradNet, a New York-based subsidiary targeting the development, marketing and commercialization of interactive sports on the Internet.

OradNet will be working with Intel to develop webcasting technologies that enable sports fans to watch and "play" live or delayed sports events. The subsidiary will use Orad's player and ball automatic tracking methods and Intel's newly developed Web 3D environment to generate live or delayed 3D graphical simulations of the live action. One application of the technology, for example, would allow consumers to view the action of an entire sports game through the eyes of one of the players.

Initial sports covered will include soccer, but OradNet is also developing product versions for football, baseball, cricket and more.

Sports.com, Europe's most visited sports website, will use the OradNet's technology for covering their local leagues. Germany's ARD, through its service provider Netcommunication, and Sport24.com, France's largest independent sports portal, have used the first system version for their coverage of Euro2000.
