Samsung to deploy Microtune tuners in cable modems
Samsung has agreed to deploy Microtune's RF silicon and systems 'gateway' solutions in its current and next-generation Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS)-based cable modems. Marketed under the InfoRanger name, Samsung's cable modems enable consumers to access the full complement of high-speed Internet, video, voice and multimedia-intensive services via two-way broadband cable.
