The Synergy Series
Synergy has been designed to address the challenges of today's television environment. Stations are producing more television with fewer staff than ever before, productions have become more and more sophisticated with heavy graphics content, multiple layered moving backgrounds and intense DVE transitions with synchronized sound effects. Synergy also addresses the new DTV production issues of Simultaneous Dual Aspect Ratio Production and is the only production switcher to have integrated Aspectizers to make this possible.
Synergy is designed to handle the demanding environment of of live production. The best productions are executed flawlessly to the vision of the producer & director. At every instant in a live production a new product is being created, a product that is synthesized from hours & sometimes days of preparation, planning, editing, graphics design, set design, make-up, rehearsals and more. Everything comes together in the production switcher to create a finished product on the fly.

The Synergy Series Digital Production Switchers break ground in several new areas. Synergy is the first Digital Production Switcher to include a DVE in every single keyer in the switcher, up to 8 channels on the Synergy 4. Synergy provides an unprecedented third, self positioning keyer in every MLE dedicated to external DVEs that allows send and re-entry, not just of individual layers, but pre-keyed MLE backgrounds as well, making DVE transitions work just like a wipe does and adding 50% more power to each MLE. Synergy is the first Digital Production switcher to have direct Video & Audio Server control via industry standard serial interfaces enabling a new level of production automation. Synergy leads the way with the most standard features on the market with built in chroma keying on every keyer, 12 aux busses, 2 pattern generators per MLE, and a loaded control panel.
Never seen before operational features include our unique heads up display, a text overlay of the preview monitor output that allows the operator to see what is happening inside the switcher without taking his eyes off the action and our dedicated, user definable macro buttons, Synergy¹s Custom Control Buttons, which allow any combination of control over Synergy as well as external device control & timelines at your fingertips.
All this is possible as Synergy uses the most advanced digital electronics and is the first Digital Production Switcher to put all it¹s MLE processing on a single Very Large Scale Integration ASIC chip which has allowed us to break the RU and power consumption barrier.
