The VP 2000 Series Picture Quality Analyzer is a real time, source independent, objective picture quality evaluation system which allows you to validate CODEC performance, tune cmpression parameters and evaluate equipment before purchase -- all without the trouble of human subjective testing!
Using the Three Layered Bottom-Up Noise Weighting Model, the VP2000 provides a running visual indication of video picture quality. Results are displayed as percent distor-tion using the DSCQS distortion scale standardized by the ITU-R in Recommendation 500-7.
The VP2000 provides excellent repeatability of results and eliminates the weaknesses of human testing.
