The CineCast Quad decoder is designed for environments that demand multi-channel MPEG-2 playback capabilities. This four-channel MPEG-2 4:2:0 decoder provides a low cost-per-channel solution for the cable, broadcast, and hospitality industries while meeting their demanding requirements for high-quality MPEG-2 playback. The CineCast Quad features four channels of composite (PAL/NTSC) video output as well as four channels of balanced stereo analog audio output, and supports MPEG-2 4:2:0 data rates up to 15 Mbps per channel (system dependent). The CineCast Quad offers a genlock input for synchronization with external video feeds making it ideal for cable ad insertion applications. The CineCast Quad is housed in a rack-mountable enclosure with a hot-swappable power supply. A second hot-swappable power supply is optional.
