Digital Audio Console

Euphonix, Inc.l audio console is a highly modular, scalable system that targets entertainment industry professionals who record and mix audio for music CDs and film. It is designed to fulfill digital audio requirements brought on by the music industry's transition to digital multi-channel sound for DVD-audio, the film industry's Dolby Digital and DTS formats, and the television industry's transition from analog to digital broadcast.

System 5 was designed for integral multi-format surround with comprehensive pan controls on every channel and up to 16 mix sections (stems) that can be formatted to meet the need of any project. The console includes a large monitor matrix that handles all formats. Up to 48 external devices can be set up and named for any format then summed together, suitable for monitoring predubs and multiple surround format devices. There are up to 48 mix buses available with bus/tape monitoring so the matrix can handle any situation. There is programmable monitor format fold-down.

The console also includes touch-sensitive moving faders and illuminated rotary controls. EQ, pan, aux and dynamics may all be automated to code with graphical displays of EQ and Dynamics on every channel. Switches can also be automated with dedicated punch in/out buttons for each switch function.
