Field Proven

Ruggedly constructed, these encoders have been used around the world for major network news gathering activities. The DVT2001 utilizes full field / frame adaptive motion compensation for broadcast quality transmission of sports and other high-motion video programs. Video can be input either as analog or serial D1.

User Friendly

Many users have approached the move to digital with concern. Isn't it complicated? All the settings - video data rates, FEC, audio data rates. While it may sound intimidating initially, all these settings represent the tremendous flexibility this technology provides. And your uplink operators need not concern themselves with all these options. We've made it user friendly. Built-in presets in both Wegener transmit & receive equipment means uplink operators have simplified digital operations. Tell your users to use "Channel 3" - they will just select that channel from the front panel control. The Channel 3 preset will have all the information you've programmed such as frequency, data rates, FEC, video resolution. But to the user, all that can be invisible. They are simply on channel 3.
