HD Animation Recorder

Intergraph CorporationAnimation Recorder enables animators and creative directors to review and record animations rendered at any resolution such as high-definition video formats at 1080P, 1080I, and 720P. It also allows artists to work in any video resolution and output to SD or any HD resolution at any frame rate such as 24P, 30P, and 60I and convert existing rendered video content to other formats (resolution and frame rate) for efficient re-use of content. For example, an existing standard definition video can be converted to an HD video.

For production facilities, the recorder enables rendered animated sequences to be converted and viewed in real time in a variety of HD or SD formats. This offers investment protection by making content easily available for transmission by any media outlet, regardless of the outcome of current HD format wars. Existing standard-definition broadcast content can also be easily scaled to high-definition aspect ratios or vice versa, with substantial creative control of "region of interest," or the areas of the screen that the director wants to emphasize and remain untrimmed by the scaling process.
