Fujinon's XA87x9.3ESM and XA87x13.2ESM field HD lenses 87x magnification are ideal for sports shooting and other applications where extreme close-ups and high-image quality are critical.

The new XA87x9.3ESM and XA87x13.2ESM, feature focal lengths up to 2300 mm and are the longest zoom lenses ever produced for the television market, according to Fujinon.

Image stability at long focal lengths has been addressed by the addition of Fujinon's newest image stabilizing technology that is available as an internal option or as a stand-alone device, which adapts to all of Fujinon's latest field lenses.

The maximum zoom speed from wide to telephoto is 0.6 seconds, and operators can select zoom characteristics and the maximum zoom speed individually. The XA87x9.3ESM and the XA87x13.2ESM are just 23mm longer than the HA66x9.5BESM. The HA87x lenses weigh only 21.5 kilograms, making them ideal for field production.

Both are equipped with digital controls and offer all the advantages of Fujinon's popular DIGI POWER series. This includes: a 32-bit RISC processor in the lens, one CPU in each servo demand, optical encoders, high-speed serial communication and 13-bit accuracy in zoom and focus control. With the new DIGI POWER HD, many functions of the XA87x lenses, such as the F number limit, Quickzoom, two-shot preset, and the advanced back focus (MACRO) offer even greater operational comfort.
