The transmitter features a Harris Corporation CD-1A exciter/8VSB modulator and a single-air-cooled Tetrode tube final amplifier. It contains provides the operator with three modes of maintenance readings. The available power levels of the Transition line of transmitters include 125, 250, 2,500 and 5,000 watts. A Longley-Rice computer study is available to determine signal coverage utilizing the Transition line of transmitters.
