Mirage MPEG 2 Player

The Mirage is a self-contained, rack mountable plug and play MPEG 2 Digital Video Player. The Mirage replaces VTRs, laser disc players and PC card based players in a variety of broadcast and professional video applications. Since the Mirage is not a PC-based player, user corruptibility factors are virtually eliminated. The Mirage is ideal for exhibit designers, theme park installations, kiosks, corporate educators, and other video professionals who require high quality, random access and frequent playback of video and audio. Each Mirage includes a Windows based Control Console including: scheduling software which allows for the creation of random and sequential play lists or date and timed based playback. Full transport control buttons are also externally located. Video taped programs can be digitally encoded onto the removable hard drive or sent via FTP. Adtec offers very economical encoding services or you or you can purchase an encoding station directly from Adtec. Multiple programs can be encoded onto a single hard drive and will eliminate picture quality loss through long term playback, tape dubbing generations and alternative device failures.
