Pixelmetrix DVStation

The new Pixelmetrix DVStationTM is a multi-port, multi-layer monitoring and impairment systems designed specifically for digital video network and transmission operators.

Designed like a powerful parallel computer, DVStationTM monitors and correlates inputs of up to 21 ports and multiple layers (physical, transport, and quality) in real-time. A single system can simultaneously connect to several points along the transmission chain. DVStationTM isolates the faulty links or components by comparing errors at each level of the protocol stack. Picture impairments can then be detected and pinpointed before they become visible.

Multi-Port Correlation
With multi-port correlation, a single DVStationTMcan simultaneouslyconnect to several points along the transmission chain, displaying correlated results at a glance. This allows network operators to track error propagation along the chain, pinpoint problem equipment, and rectify problems quickly. A modular architecture means that different types of modules can be combined to suit the network configuration.

Multi-Layer Correlation

Since lower layer errors directly affect upper layers, DVStation™ helps find impairments before they become visible. Errors at each level of the protocol stack can be easily compared.
