Medea Corp.T disk storage arrays offer up to 225 GB of video storage per module and will sustain a minimum data transfer rate of 55 MB/second. This data rate provides more than enough performance to support a single-stream of uncompressed D1 video or dual stream, real-time effects systems at broadcast resolutions to 500 KB/frame.
Medea Corp.T disk arrays attach to any Ultra2 SCSI equipped PC, Mac or SGI computer. By daisy-chaining Medea Corp.T modules together, up to 3.375 Terabytes (3,375 GB) of high-performance storage can be configured on a single SCSI host adapter.
When used in conjunction with dual-channel Ultra2 SCSI host adapters, Medea Corp.T disk barrays support high-end applications including multi-stream uncompressed and high-definition television (HDTV) video editing systems.
