Video Routing Switcher

The MX64 routing switcher is designed for use in SDI installations where a flexible expandable routing switcher is required. The router control system also allows control from up to five devices simultaneously, allowing replacement of smaller separate routing switchers.

The building block of the switcher is an 11U rackframe which can contain up to 64 x 64 serial digital routing switcher, with redundant control and power supply. The device is available in sizes from 16 x 16 and is expandable in blocks of 16 inputs or outputs. Once a size of 64 x 64 has been reached a plug in upgrade path is available to allow future expansion of the MX64 to MX256 128 x 128 specification. For output monitoring the chassis can also be equipped with a internal output monitoring routing switcher. Features include:
