Its flagship FG-5000 Series MPEG Transcoder is now capable of transcoding over 300 streams in just 3U of rack space. Propelled by the company’s new XC10 transcoder card, the FG-5000 supports transrating and transcaling full MPEG2 HD resolutions down to smaller H.264 formats suitable for mobile, over-the-top (OTT), and TV Everywhere applications. The multi-format transcoder supports MPEG2 to H.264, H.264 to MPEG2, and H.264 to H.264 and is scalable from 6 streams to hundreds.

VideoPropulsion also offers a plethora of content security solutions in the form of real-time scramblers/descramblers and encrypting EdgeQAMs. These turnkey appliances are built using industry standards such as Pro:Idiom, SamsungLYNK, Verimatrix, VSECURE, Conax, and other DVB-CI and DVB-CSA standards.
