The Bug-Lite is a 200 Watt daylight HMI system without optics. The main application for this type of unit is in traditional Lightbanks as well as Lanterns. The Bug-Lite was designed to work in any position. It works very well as a daylight practical. Light enough to be mounted on the camera the Bug-Lite makes a perfect eyelight. Having no optics makes the unit very efficient in Lightbanks where it uses its sides as a large reflector, collecting the maximum output of the lamp and filling the front screen very evenly. The Bug-Lite accepts two other accessories: the Dowser and the interchangeable Safety Glass Beaker. The Dowser limits the 360 degrees spread by rotating around the lamp enclosure, cutting the beam pattern and creating a dimming effect. The Safety Glass Beaker normally provided is frosted to diffuse the intense 5mm arc from the lamp, but a clear version can be substituted to restore the full intensity when harsh shadow projections are desired. The Bug-Lite uses the same power supply and cable system as the Joker 200. It will therefore work under the same conditions on 110 or 240 as well as 30 Volt with the Slimverter 200 or 400.

• Large T handle and large brake area for use of front end Lightbanks, Speed Rings, Louvers and Lanterns.
  
• Accessory Size: 5" with the accessory adapter.
  
• Mounting/Grip Equipment: All standard 5/8" bab hardware.
  
• Lamp: 200 Watt MSR/SE daylight single ended discharge lamp, 5600 Kelvin, 400 hours maximum life.
  
• Connectors: Veam quarter-turn quick locking.
  
• Extension Cable: 25' shielded. Common to 200 and 400. (12 inches of high temperature cable is attached to the fixture).
  
• Power Supply: Electronic, square wave flicker free. AC input: 90-132 Volt or by sliding selector switch: 180-265V. 50 or 60 Hz. Dual function ON/OFF push button switch. Completely silent (convection cooled).
