The FXDeko II video graphics engine (VGE) can simultaneously move dozens of layers of text, logos and textures, all in real-time. Each layer can be moved independently through 3D transformation or manipulated with OpenGL®-based effects, with double the number of polygons of previous products. One measure of the power of a VGE is its "screen coverage", which is how much of the video screen would be covered if all the elements were laid out without overlap, like tiles on a wall. FXDeko II has an unrivaled four screens worth of coverage. The mature, intuitive Deko software platform provides precise control over every transition and effect with a broad array of adjustments including angle, tile count, curvature and many others. Text can be further altered with unlimited font details including shadows, blurs, and a fully featured sequencer.
The FXDeko II video graphics engine utilizes the latest-generation GLINT® R4 graphics processor from 3Dlabs® to significantly boost 2D and 3D performance and functionality at the exacting levels of quality required of high-end broadcast equipment.
