Details

The DVM-2000 12 Bit Video and 24 Bit Audio Fiber Optic Transport offers state-of-the-art performance exceeding RS250C Short-haul and Broadcast Specifications. The system will support one video, up to 6 audio and 3 data channels.

The video Signal to Noise ratio is greater than 75 dB and a Signal to Quantizing Noise ratio of greater than 71 dB. The video bandwidth of 8 MHz support of NTSC, PAL, SECAM and video with diplexed audio carriers at 4.5 MHz, 5.8 MHz and 6.4 MHz. The Differential Gain and Phase is less than of 0.3% and 0.3ยบ, respectively. The systems includes front panel video Gain and 1000 feet cable equalization adjustments. The DVM-2000 supports 24 Bit Stereo Audio flat from 20 to 20K Hz with S/N greater than 90 dB and THD less than 0.05%.

Your fiber optic transport system will never become obsolete when you switch from analog to digital. Systems are available to support BOTH analog video and up to 540 Mbit/sec SDI on the same fiber with an automatic switchover feature. The Optical budget exceeds 30 dBm.

The transmitter and receiver modules plug into a 10-channel frame with redundant power supplies or are available as stand-alone units. The systems supports 110/220 VAC and optionally for 48 VDC.

Applications include links from studio to transmitter (STL), studio to studio, studio to CATV head- end, distance learning, satellite up and down links, common carrier transport, Telco circuits, distance learning, Intelligent Transportation Systems and back-haul feeds from special events.

The system is available with 850nm and 1300nm wavelength LEDs for Multimode and 1300nm and 1550nm wavelength Lasers for Singlemode applications.
