KVM SWITCH for six (6) PCs or Mac computers
A revolutionary six (6) position cross platform KVM switcher. It allows simultaneous access to multiple PC and Macintosh computers, using whichever keyboard, monitor and mouse that you choose.

How it works:

The PC or Macintosh computers are connected to input cards in the back of the extendit PC/MAC2000 CPU Switcher. The multisync monitor, keyboard and mouse are connected to the output connection. The PC/Mac2000 switches between PC and Macintosh computers using a push button in the front of the unit, or (from the keyboard or the RMT-16 remote control). Gefen developed a unique crossplatform keyboard and mouse firmware that allows operation of a PC or a Macintosh computer using either the Macintosh keyboard / mouse or the PC keyboard and mouse.

When two ex•tend•it PC/MAC2000 CPU Switcher units are connected to each other, it enables switching between twelve (12) PC's or Macintosh computers. The PC/MAC2000 CPU Switcher units can be rackmounted. The RMT-16 remote control unit is used to remotely switch the PC / MAC2000 CPU Switcher.

Specifications and Features:

• Stand-alone PC/MAC2000 unit switches between PC and MAC computers located near each other.
  With EXT-12, EXT-25 high quality cables, and PS/2 or ADB extension cables, the unit can be extended up to 25 feet away
  
• The PC/Mac2000 is a modular design. The frame supports six (6) computers either Mac or PC type and additional input cards for additional computers can be added later as needed.
