The Fiberlink FM Video Transmission System is designed to transmit high quality NTSC, PAL and SECAM video signals over standard multimode or single-mode optical fiber. The system employs pulse frequency modulation (PFM) to assure superb transmission of composite, high-quality video at distances that can vary from a few feet to more than 50 miles. The system is adjustment-free, automatic gain control of the output is provided as a function of the inherent limiting action of the receiver. Integral front panel indicator LEDs are also provided to allow continuous monitoring of all functions. The units are easily and quickly installed and are designed for long, trouble-free operation in most indoor or protected outdoor environments.
