The DVM-3000 12 Bit Video, Audio and 8 channel data Fiber Optic Transport offers high performance exceeding RS250C Short-haul and Broadcast Specifications. The system will support one video, up to 2 audio and up to 8 bi-directional data channels. It is in operation by the Federal Departments of Transportation and numerous State DOT's. A fully digital system never requires maintenance and recalibration.

The video Signal to Noise ratio is greater than 75 dB and a Signal to Quantizing Noise ratio of greater than 71 dB. The video bandwidth of 6 MHz support of NTSC, PAL and SECAM. The Differential Gain and Phase is less than of 0.3% and 0.3°, respectively. The system includes front panel video Gain and 1000 feet cable equalization adjustments.
The system supports up to 8 bi-directional data channels of RS-232C, RS-422, RS-485, CMOS or TTL at up to 100 Kbps. One channel can be used for PTZ while other channels can support loop-detectors, traffic signs, traffic control and traffic monitoring systems. The operating temperature range is -30° to +75°C.

The transmitter and receiver modules plug into a 10-channel frame with redundant power supplies or are available as stand-alone units. The Optical budget exceeds 26 dBm. The systems supports 110/220 VAC and optionally for 48 VDC. Applications include distance learning, Intelligent Transportation Systems, traffic monitoring and surveillance.
