HDC920 High Definition Camera Cable

Gepco International debuts their new HDC920 High Definition camera cable. The HDC920 is a flexible and rugged 9.2mm hybrid cable that utilizes both optical fibers and copper conductors for the digital video control signals. Ideal for both studio and remote applications, it meets or exceeds the SMPTE 311M standard for hybrid camera cables. The HDC920 is available in bulk or pre-terminated cable assemblies.
Two single mode 9.5 micron optical fibers are the primary components of the HDC920. The optical fibers allow for digital video signals to be transmitted with extreme accuracy and reliability over distances in excess of 5000 feet. To facilitate power and camera control, the HDC920 also has four 20 gage, and two 24 gage tin copper conductors. Shielding is provided by 95 percent tinned copper braid.
In addition to the signal components of the cable, the HDC920 also employs a 16 AWG strength member and a rugged and flexible thermoplastic jacket. This construction makes the HDC920 flexible, durable and easy to coil.
