Offering 4.7GB of capacity on a single side, the DVD-R and DVD-RAM discs provide low-cost, removable storage for up to 2 hours of high-quality MPG2 video, 400,000 documents, 4,700 full-color photos, or more than 12 hours of AC3 audio.

The high-capacity DVD-RAM/R drive can also be used to reclaim valuable hard disk capacity. By offloading videos and clips from older projects to DVD-RAM media, users can lower their storage cost to about $.005/MB. With the ability to read CDs at up to 24X speed and DVD videos and DVD-ROMs at up to 6X speeds, the versatile DVD-RAM drive becomes even more cost-effective.

Compatible with Windows(R) 98, Windows ME, Windows NT and Windows 2000, Pinnacle Impression is bundled with Pinnacle Systems editing products -- DV500plus, DC1000/2000 and DVD2000 -- and is available through resellers, distributors, direct sales and OEMs worldwide. Pinnacle Systems also plans to offer Impression software as a standalone product.
