The CommandPost multimedia application controller is a USB-based controller that adds controls including pushbuttons, jog/shuttle, joystick and a T-Bar to multimedia applications. The device includes intelligent interface software, which is easily customized to any application; and a hardware control panel that is connected to a computer via a Universal Serial Bus (USB).

The device enables customization of workflow by utilizing familiar standalone device controls for multimedia applications. CommandPost comes with templates for popular video and graphics applications, including Effetto Pronto, Apple iMovie, Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Puffin Commotion, Canopus RexEdit, Digital Origin EditDV plus much more.

The system's interface enables the creation of templates for virtually any application. Each template matches the individual controls to the application's primary key sequences. Controls include jog/shuttle, joystick and T-Bar controls in addition to 15 user-definable function keys. The application is supported by Windows 98, Windows 2000 and Mac OS.
