Telestream, Inc. is a software application that eliminates streaming media's complicated process of encoding and delivery by automatically "flipping" source files into user specified formats and then forwarding these files to appropriate servers. Supporting both file based media and live webcasts, Telestream, Inc. is designed for corporate communications departments, the television and entertainment industries and Internet service providers.

Telestream, Inc. is a simple-to-use, automated solution that simultaneously transcodes source video into multiple streaming formats and bit rates and sends it to FTP servers, web servers, caching networks and individual mailboxes in the format each destination requires. High quality video, created in any source format, is automatically re-coded by Telestream, Inc. and delivered to servers for distribution anywhere with an Internet connection. This eliminates the manual process of encoding and removes the need for tape duplication and shipping, expensive pre-arranged satellite hook-ups, and storage of huge video files in multiple formats. Media delivery takes place in Internet time, using a "smart network." Telestream, Inc. leverages Telestream's Flipware architecture, allowing for enhancements (such as noise reduction and the addition of watermarks) during the "flipping" process.

The software runs on a standard Windows NT or Windows 2000 server, so Telestream, Inc. can adapt easily as media preferences and hardware systems change. And because Telestream, Inc. software is designed to be scalable, additional modules can be added as needed.
