UCL-Series Digital ENG Link

RF Technology / Continental Microwave offer the UCL-Series analog / digital ENG link for portable transmission of analog video and / or wideband data signals. The UCL-Series' unique 1 box / 2 box configuration provides the user unmatched flexibility and allows both analog and digital transmission to be supported from one system.

For digital transmission, modulation schemes used include COFDM, QPSK, QAM and FSK, with digital transmission up to E3 / DS3 data rates. The system also supports the analog (FM) transmission of video and up to four internal subcarriers.

Output frequency selection is direct-dial in 100KHz steps for compatibility to any channel plan - a key feature given the uncertainty over plans for changes in the BAS band.

Systems are available for operation in all frequency bands from 1.2 to 27GHz, and are complimented by our wide range of antennas, mechanics and external power amplifiers.
