Enerdyne's proprietary technology provides a very reliable and robust means of digitizing and compressing real-time video so that it can be transmitted over any digital transmission system. Digital data is robust, easily multiplexed, can be encrypted, and is not affected by the number of repeaters or generations of copies. By compressing digital video data, an image may be transmitted at dramatically lower bandwidths, which translates into substantial cost savings. It allows for an increase in the number of video channels on existing links and also for the use of existing digital networks, eliminating the need for costly fiber and coaxial installations.
