Discreet resolution-independent 3D graphics system for broadcast production. With real-time external control capabilities, the system is well suited for everyday news, financial, and sports graphics, or for graphic animations that typically require multiple character generators, digital disk recorders, DVE channels, and video sources.
It renders 3D imagery and text in real-time, based on cues from external sources such as touch-screens, newswires, sports statistics databases, and stock quote services. The graphics templates can be quickly updated and reused. This product has an upgrade path to graphics production at HDTV resolution, and to an all-digital virtual production studio, where broadcast graphics and live-action shots can be immersed in photorealistic 3D sets.
