9-inch Monitor

The BT-S915DA is a 9-in., high-performance monitor that is compatible with both 525i and 625i component signals. Designed for use by broadcast facilities with DTV systems, the monitor can also be used for monitoring digital signals via an optional serial digital interface.

The compact monitor displays both conventional 4:3 and widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio images for monitoring a variety of picture sources. The monitor's inputs include looping NTSC composite, S-Video, YPbPr, RGB, and external sync. The optional serial digital interface (ET-SD06U), which attaches to the rear, allows the unit to serve as a monitor in digital broadcast systems based on the SMPTE 259M standard. Compatible with NTSC/PAL/SECAM color systems, the monitor delivers more than 300 TV lines of horizontal resolution, a 90 degree deflection and 0.50 mm dot pitch. Frequently used controls are neatly arranged on the front panel; in addition to these basic controls, functions for a wide range of professional applications can be operated with the on-screen menu. The monitor's rotary encoder facilitates high-precision control. Other notable features include: underscan; the ability to mount two units side-by-side on an EIA standard 19-inch rack; selectable temperature (6500 degreesK/9300 degreesK/user preset); a built-in speaker; and 1W (10%) THD audio power output.
