ACL-Series Digital Fixed Link

RF Technology / Continental Microwave introduce the ACL-Series - a state-of-the-art turnkey digital fixed link system. The ACL Series is designed for STL / TSL / ICR applications, as well as wideband digital networks. Systems are available as dedicated digital links or as analog links that can subsequently be upgraded for digital transmission.

The ACL supports the digital transmission of high definition (ATSC) and standard definition (NTSC / PAL) video. Digital system configurations include ATSC+NTSC, ATSC only, dual NTSC and dual ATSC - all within a single RF channel. For dedicated data networks, systems are available in E1, T1, E2, E3 and DS3 formats. Modulation schemes available include QPSK, 8PSK, 16QAM and FSK; additional features include forward error correction and adaptive equalization.

In analog format, the ACL supports the transmission of video and up to six internal subcarriers for program or wideband audio, or data.

The ACL's heterodyne design, incorporating 70MHz IF ports, makes it ideal for use as an IF repeater in multi-hop networks. Other configurations include hot / standby, duplex and diversity.

All models in the ACL Series are only 2 EIA rack units high. Transmitter heat sink and transmit and receive channel filters are rear mounted to fit within the allocated 2 EIA units.

Available in all frequency bands from 1.2 to 16GHz, the ACL Series is truly the system of choice for analog and digital microwave transmissions for the future.
