Professional floor stand from AKG offers a functional, sturdy microphone mount in an inconspicuous design.

Underscoring its reputation for designing and building high-quality microphone technology and accessories, AKG Acoustics today introduced the GN 155 professional floor stand at the 2001 NSCA Expo. The stand offers a reliable microphone mounting solution when table stands or lecterns are not desirable or available.

Consisting of a boom module and sturdy floor stand, the GN 155 can connect to any of AKG's five Discreet Acoustics Capsule Modules, providing functionality for a variety of acoustical environments. An integrated LED ring indicates operational status while the included 33-foot cable with XLR phantom power adapter is long enough for most on-stage applications.

The boom features two flexible goosenecks that allow the stand to be adjusted to best fit the user, and an extension tube is included for use with extremely tall speakers.

The AKG GN 155 is 61 inches long and is constructed of metal and finished in an attractive gray matte, making for a rugged floor stand that will easily blend in with most environments.
