Alpha Composites are offered in many combinations of sound-absorbing acoustical foams, sound-blocking vinyl sound barriers, protective facings and pressure-sensitive adhesive (peel and stick) backings. Space efficient and highly effective, Alpha Composites are ideal for applications that require increased sound-absorption, vibration damping and/or sound transmission loss. Alpha Composites help to not only control sound transmissions through adding weight to your walls or ceilings, it also decouples some of the structural vibration by separating the weight of the vinyl from the wall it is being attached to.

WHISPERMAT WM1 & WM2 (OPEN & CLOSED CELL)
Whispermat is a noise control material specifically designed to achieve maximum attenuation over a broad frequency range. It combines dense, limp, flexible, non-lead loaded barriers with Hushcloth foams providing a total noise control system. Whispermat is available with single and double layer septum's, various barrier weights, foam thicknesses and a variety of surface treatment and comes in colors of black barrier and charcoal grey foam.

WM1
Combines a single barrier layer with a single layer of Hushcloth foam. When the barrier is applied to the application, the foam absorbs airborne noise. The barrier contains the sound vibrations. When the foam is added to the barrier, the barrier becomes decoupled. A facing can be added to the barrier to increase durability and weatherability. WM1 can also be used as a carpet underlayment. If moisture is a concern, closed cell foams can be used.

WM2
Combines a single barrier lay with a single layer of Hushcloth foam on both sides. When applied to an application, the isolation foam layer, decouples the barrier while the thicker absorption layer reduces airborne sound. A facing can be added to the barrier to increase durability and weatherability.
