Odetics Broadcasttomation System, evolved from the SpotBank system, is a complete station automation system. It is capable of controlling tape machines, video servers, routing switchers, graphics devices and master control switchers. The system can run multiple playlists from a single PC workstation, which reduces system cost and operating space. The system controls an expanded portfolio of switchers including Ocelot, Bobcat and Cougar models of PESA routing switchers and Leitch's XPRESS switcher. A software driver option for the Philips Saturn master control switcher, which transitions between play events, is also now available for the AIRO system.

The company's Data Library Manager (DLM) adds video-data archive support. The DLM stores compressed video data files on DLT tapes in an ATL Products DLTtape Library, which is available from the company. A high-speed Fiber Channel interface, between the DLM and Tektronix's Profile video server, provides automated archive support and enables file transfers at up to 40 Mb/s.
