The Broadcast Control System adds machine control capabilities to news systems. It controls up to 32 on-air devices, and automatically monitors producer and journalist changes. The server maintains a copy of the playlist, which is accessible to all workstations. The system features a semi-automated transmission process, integration with the rundown which allows the producer to change the show while it is on air, and an open platform that enables the integration of new devices.
