CAT5-2000S/R
How it works:
The CAT52000S sender unit is placed next to the computer. Straight monitor, keyboard, mouse and USB cables connect the CPU and the CAT52000 sender unit. The cables are supplied with the CAT52000.
The CAT52000R Receiver unit is placed next to the monitor and keyboard or USB device in the extended location. The monitor and keyboard are connected to the CAT52000R similar to the way you connect them into the back of the (PC or Mac) computer.
Industry standard Category -5 cables are used for the extension cables between the CAT52000 Sender and CAT52000 Receiver units. The monitor, keyboard and mouse are extended by one CAT-5 cable, while the USB, RS232 and audio are extended via a second CAT-5 cable.
Only the CAT52000 receiver unit uses an external power supply. The units are housed in a metal box for better RF shielding.
