Telestream, Inc.o allows video professionals to send and receive video and audio packages over a choice of standard data networks, including the Internet. The system is a video delivery device that allows users to transmit approval-quality to digital-master-quality video.

The device combines standards-based technologies to provide a low-cost video/audio exchange system that is as simple to use as email. Based on Internet Protocol (IP) technology, MPEG-2 standards and store-and-forward technology, the system acquires, compresses and stores media on the system's internal disk before forwarding an exact copy to one or more recipient systems.

The system includes built-in worldwide standards conversion, user-selectable MPEG-2 compression ML @ MP 4:2:0, 1-15 Mbps or ML @ 4:2:2 P, 1-50 Mbps, a built-in 4GB hard disk for media caching and storage of up to one hour of broadcast quality video, a flat panel touch-screen control panel/display with built-in stereo speakers for full video/audio monitoring of media clips, and full simultaneous duplex transmission and reception.
