Compositing and Digital Effects System

The Effetto Pronto digital video effects and compositing system is a desktop-based hardware and software compositing tool offering real-time feedback effects processing, unlimited layering capabilities and creativity-enhancing features. The system offers virtually unlimited creative control to compositing artists. Designed to be platform-independent, it includes the Effetto QuickTime-based compositing software and Pronto, a dedicated PCI effects processing engine. The system can be integrated into any Power Macintosh QuickTime-based non-linear digital video editing compositing suite.

The "pipeline" architecture lets artists work with an unlimited number of tracks at any resolution. It is resolution independent, meaning that compositors can mix and match a variety of formats and bring them all together seamlessly. Central to the software application is the Composition Editor, a keyframe-based time-line compositing interface. It incorporates all the different elements of a project, QuickTime video, graphics, and anti-aliased text from the Titler module. Parameter manipulation such as geometrics, image controls, blurring, keying, warping and lighting can be set from within the Composition Editor window or with floating Parameter Palettes. The interface is designed to give the User the opportunity to work in the style they most prefer.
