DD35-2S-BM Switcher
The new mainframe is equipped as standard with 16 SDI-inputs that can be readily expanded to 44 SDI-inputs, combined with one M/E and associated PGM/PST bus. In combination with the DD35-2S panel the new compact mainframe, the DD35-2S-BM, provides a powerful and space-saving switcher perfectly suited for OB vans or other applications where space is restricted while ensuring maximum production power is at an affordable cost. Two redundant power supplies further enhance the outstanding reliability associated with the DD35 family.
The M/E of the DD35-2S-BM system includes three keyers together with three internal downstream keyers (DSKs) plus the possibility to integrate a further three DSKs externally. Operational power is further enhanced by the inbuilt provision of one hundred effects registers for timelines on the M/E plus one hundred Master registers that are capable of storing "dynamic snap shots" of the entire panel. The features are almost endless and include, among many valuable tools, NameFollowVideo, Router interface protocols, chassis and control panel networking as standard capabilities. Options include Image Store, Texture/Matte Store, Montage and FX Processor (an internal DVE) and an impressive range of Remote Control Panels are available for the new mainframe further extending the power of this remarkable and compact switcher.
The DD35 product line provides an extensive range of production switchers ranging from DD10 small compact single M/E systems to the DD35-4LX switcher systems with four M/E banks. Each product has the same operational and electrical characteristics and is therefore compatible with others in the series. The DD 35 product family is based on actual operational requirements and used for live or post-production of high-end television programmes.
Since the introduction in 1993 more than one thousand five hundred DD series have been delivered and featured in most of the acclaimed events of the past decade, including Olympic Games, similar world sporting championships and prestigious live entertainment events.
