Avid Technology DV software for multimedia creation and publishing is a turnkey solution available in the IBM Intellistation M Pro model 6868-91 workstation. With Xpress DV, users can create video for Web, CDs, tape, and DVDs with powerful video and audio editing tools.
Avid Xpress DV software captures and edits IEEE 1394 Digital Video (DV). It adds effects, mixes audio and produces electronic content in all known formats of streaming media for the Web, MPEG 1 or 2, for DVD and CD ROM projects, and QuickTime and AVI files for computer based presentations. Outputs Digital Video over IEEE 1394 for making videotapes.
The IntelliStation M Pro is configured with an Intel 840 chip set, Pentium III processor, super Rambus ECC memory, 133 MHz Front Side Bus, a Canopus DV Raptor PCI adapter and a Matrox Millennium G400 4X AGP graphics adapter with 16MB onboard.
