This digital video editing product transfers broadcast-quality digital video between DV camcorders and computers. Optimized for editing digital video on the Macintosh Powerbook G3, MotoDV ensures that the scenes recorded on a DV camcorder stay the same for movies recorded to tape or encoded for CD-ROM or the Web. The laptop version of the product uses the Mobile 1394 PC Card. This enables Powerbook users to connect their laptops to digital video camcorders and capture video directly to the computer's internal hard drive.
MotoDV Mobile includes EditDV Unplugged, a streamlined version of EditDV software application. It also includes the MotoDV software application for digital video capture, EditDV Unplugged for digital video editing, PhotoDV for still image capture, plus the Mobile 1394 PC Card and cable. This laptop solution supports the company's suite of products for Macintosh.
