Emcee to jointly develop DTV transmitters with Italy's Technosystem

<%=company1%>, a White Haven, PA-based provider of wireless technology to the telecommunications industry, has signed an agreement with Technosystem of Italy to jointly develop UHF and VHF low, medium and high power analog and digital transmitters.

Emcee and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Advanced Broadcast Systems (ABS), will work with Technosystem to develop new broadcast transmitter products for the North American DTV market. The agreement marks the US market debut for Technosystem, which designs and manufactures equipment and systems for the European, Asian and South American radio and television broadcasting markets. ABS, recently acquired by Emcee, is a Burlington, KY-based manufacturer of high power transmitters.
