<%=company1%>, the company created by combining the operations of Columbine JDS Systems, DAL/Drake Automation, and Enterprise Software, today announced that it has teamed with video server manufacturers to offer its DAL Playlist Manager system as a pre-packaged, specially-priced video server automation solution.

"The ability to offer pre-packaged systems in conjunction with some of the leading hardware manufacturers not only gives the end user a proven, tested solution, it presents an immediate cost savings in hardware and software, not to mention installation time," said Joe French, Vice President of Encoda Systems.

As an added benefit of the pre-packaged server automation, all systems interface with any Encoda Systems traffic product, including BIAS, Columbine, JDS 2000, Paradigm, and Enterprise BMS. The interface provides for an efficient transfer of schedules and as-run logs between traffic and master control for automation playout and traffic reconciliation, completely integrating the distribution end of the facility with the business end.

In addition to playlist management and video server control, the standard system provides video server balancing, redundant playout and segmented program playback. The system also has distributed control capabilities allowing monitoring and control from any authorized workstation. DAL Playlist Manager will be available in English, Portuguese, French and Spanish.

DAL Playlist Manager targets those stations transitioning to digital and planning for future channels and storage. The system also supplies the security of a backup playout system with a mirrored configuration.
