PHAME is a patented motion vector processor featuring 200 Giga operations per second that uses a 320 MB neural network memory architecture. The intelligence in the algorithm exploits temporal and spatial redundancies with an extensive search area, as well as psycho-visual properties. This element is crucial for the accurate encoding and reproduction of dynamic motion video.
