Evertz designs, manufactures and markets high quality video and film equipment required by professional production and post-production facilities and television broadcasters worldwide.

2001 marks Evertz Microsystems 35th anniversary. Throughout these thirty five years Evertz has become a world leader in professional HDTV & SDTV technologies. Our products have become industry standards throughout the world.

Our current product line consists of a wide range of HDTV & SDTV products, Keyers, Logo Inserters, Universal Data Readers/Decoders, Time code Generators, Readers, Character Inserters and Translators, Film post production systems, Keykode readers, digital video products including VITC Keyers, parallel to serial and serial to parallel converters, and closed captioning equipment. The combined expertise of our engineering department ensures a high level of product quality and functionality that is second to none in the industry. In September of 1994 Evertz received an engineering plaque from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Prime Time Emmy Awards for outstanding achievement in engineering development.

In addition to our standard full function products, Evertz also undertakes custom engineering projects for end users and other Original Equipment Manufacturers.

Our products are marketed through a worldwide distribution network that covers Canada, The United States, Europe, and parts of the middle and far east. A sample of some of the current customer base includes television stations, broadcast facilities such as, NBC, HBO, BBC, CBC, ABC, CBS, RAI(Italy) Fox-Tel(Australia) ORF(Austria), and post production houses that provide film to tape transfer services for commercials, episodic television, television movies, feature films and documentaries.
