Former Chyron President to Take Helm at Sony Broadcast

Edward Grebow, former president and CEO of Melville, NY-based Chyron Corp., has been named president of Sony Electronics Broadcast and Professional Co., the US-based provider of Sony broadcast equipment. Roger Henderson, former Chyron executive vice president and managing director of Chyron's UK-based subsidiary, Pro-Bel, replaces Grebow as president and CEO of Chyron, effective immediately.

Prior to joining Chyron, Grebow spent two years as president of TELE-TV Systems, a video-on-demand joint venture of Bell Atlantic (New York), Pacific Telesis Group (San Francisco), and Nynex (New York), which operated in the Washington, DC area from 1995-97. He also spent seven years with CBS Inc. (New York) as executive vice president where he oversaw broadcast operations and engineering, technology, management information systems, facilities, personnel, and general administration.

Grebow replaces Charles Steinberg, who has recently become special advisor to Dr. Teruaki Aoki, president and CEO of Sony Electronics (Park Ridge, NJ).

Henderson has been with Pro-Bel since 1983, serving in several software development positions. He has been the Pro-Bel Group's managing director since 1996.
